Well the manual I used had:
Keyword or command name
a brief description
the syntax diagram
then some examples and other information

For me at least, I find them much easier than trying to match braces and paraentheses and brackets as the syntax presented in the ORACLE Complete Reference book.

Tim,
  maybe that would be easier on your text reading software. I never thought of that. (Hey why doesn't HTML have altenative Sound for text. Images have alternative text. Hmmm....)
