Look at Mac OS X - seriously - one of the better GUI's, runs a much better verson of MS Office, and underneath it's Unix (X11, bash, vi, Perl, Java, Oracle, you name it).

It's my preferred laptop at home as it means I don't have to compromise or maintain three machines - and the added goodies such as iSync to an iPod, and the Airport based wireless networking are wonderful. Haven't found anything I can't do on it yet Received on Mon Jan 27 2003 - 21:13:45 CST
