I know it's got nothing to do with you, but allow me the rant:

This whole AWE thing stinks to high heaven of IBM's "above and below the line"!

Amazing how the same errors keep appearing again and again in this industry. All because those responsible refuse to learn from past experience.

There is only one way this problem will go away: when Windows becomes true 64-bit enabled. Until then, it's a kludge and it will remain one.

Anyone with memory size problems in Widnows would do well investigating a proper 64-bit OS as an alternative.

But then again, that wouldn't be "following our site standards" and all sorts of other idiotic justifications for spending $$$ in dud technologies.
