Here is what is really going on. Too many people totally overlook the obvious.

Islamic "governments" are to blame - not the government of the US. Not Slick Willy, not Shrub.

Why ? you ask..........because these despots make BILLIONS of dollars a year for doing nothing (out oil companies do all the 'work') and give almost nothing to the common man/woman/child except preaching. And what do they preach........hatred of the US. Why ? to keep the heat off themselves.

Look at another small fact the liberal media deftly avoid - millions of people per year visit the US. More people visit the US every year (legally) than all other countries of the world COMBINED. Then we have untold thousands, perhaps millions if you count illegals, who immigrate into the US every year. Again, more than all other countries of the world combined. Why ? Wow, there is that pesky question again...........because we have the best system going, period. Not meant in an arrogant way - just the facts, plain and simple.

What the US should do is
Drop out of the U.N.
Expel all U.N. personnel out of the US immediately. Create a new body - call it the "ODS" for Organization of Democratic States and only allow countries to join that have free elections. And don't give me the crap about Bush 'stealing' the last election by disenfranchising blacks in Florida - if that really happened don't you just think there would be dozens or hundreds of Rodney King type videos of the big bad white Sheriff chasing darkie away from the polls?
Only allow easy trade with ODS members. Make ODS port clearances easier. Make non ODS members pay much higher duty rates and submit to rigorous inspections.

We need to export democracy and we need to stop pu**y-footing around and bring some peace to the world by exposing corrupt Islamic (and other) regimes for what they are. I know we may have 'helped' some of these whackos but you have the classic lesser of two evils dilema in some cases. We have to pick our allies from some pretty awful people to keep everything from boiling over.

We also need to send a clear message to people that we do not aspire to world domination. Never have conquered a country and kept it. All we've ever done in the long term is help our enemies. It's time we took the stage and told the world which end is up, once and for all.
