Dear all,

we are trying to install oracle iFS with no success. We have already installed oracle DB 9.0.2 (on machne1), oracle infrastructure (on machine2) and oracle AS 9 release 2 (on machine1). We tried to install oracle 9i iFS on machine1 but even after a successful installation we can't make the domain controller to be started (it can be launched but not started). Besides that, when we trying to launch the Oracle ifs manager we got an exception: ifs-21008.... which supposes to be an authentication error but we are sure that the user/pass is correct. Any one who has experience with iFS installaiton? We have installed the iFS on the oracle_home of the application server (as documented) could this be the reason? (for the previous version of oracle (8) the manual stated that the ifs should be installed on the oracle_home of the DB)

Thanks in advance
Petros Sampatakos
