Scott,

Possible methods to upgrade from 8.0.5 to 8.0.6 include...

  1. full database export from 8.0.5 and full database import into 8.0.6
  2. running the cat script... $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/u0800050.sql

This script is shipped with the 8.0.6 Server distribution and is to be used

for upgrading an 8.0.5 database to the new release (8.0.6). This script provides

a direct upgrade path from 8.0.5 to the new Oracle release (8.0.6).

For complete reference please refer to the Oracle Migration Manual.

Hope this helps!
Peter
