importing data in from text file

I was given a tab delimited text file and need to import it into a
table.  Can someone show me how to import this tab delimited file into
Oracle from a DOS prompt?  Figured it would work thru sqlplus, but not
sure how to actually get open and loop thru the information.  Thanks.
