Run, don't walk, away from 8.1.5 and get 8.1.6 or 8.1.7, or better even 9i instead.

Don't ask, I have surgically remove all memory of the trouble I had from whatever brains I have left. The later versions are fine, but 8.1.5 was somewhat trying.
