BMC Patrol and excessive logging

We are using Patrol with our 8.1.7 database.  Patrol's activities are
generating 7.5 MB of redo activity per hour.  Is there any way I can modify
the Patrol parameters to decrease this activity?  Will it affect other
aspects of the monitoring?
