PL/File ?

pl/sql is the "native" language of oracle, so it certainly comes with oracle 9i.

Perhaps you mean SQL*Plus the interface that gives you the interactive SQL> prompt at which you can type SQL commands. There is a console version and a windows version. Both present a command line at which you type SQL commands.

I can't imagine it *not* coming with *any* version of oracle. Perhaps you just don't know the naem of the program to run. I am not logged onto an oracle client right now, so I cann't check, but I recall an earlier version was the file C:\OraNT\bin\plus33w.exe . The number 33 was version 3.3, so look for a file in a similar directory with a similar name but a higher number. Received on Sun Oct 06 2002 - 02:36:19 CDT
