Hi,
I would like access to a oracle database from a linux-box , so i tried to use TORA ( v.1.2.0 and v.1.2.4 ).
I've installed the OracleClient9i and tested SQL*net via tnsping. Tnsping and connection via sqlplus works fine but I can't get a connect with TORA.
The errormessage was "Unable to connect to the database" . I've reinstalled Tora ( another version also ) but without success. Could anybody give me a hint ?

Is there an alternative SQL_Tool like TORA or TOAD for Oracle that runs on Linux ( SuSE 7.3 -> Kernel: 2.4.0) ?

ThanX
