How to read a password?

I'd be interested in knowing if you can find out a password with OEM or whatever.

I'm using 9iAS on win2K. With OEM, as 'SYSTEM AS SYSDBA'/manager i've gone:

        Database -- Security -- Users -- SYSTEM -- General and see some password fields full of *****'s.

I've tried reading the online help and an OEM manual but this is all i can find.
