DBD::Oracle::st fetchrow_array failed: ERROR no statement executing

Recently compiled DBD-Oracle-1.12, DBI-1.21 on hpux w/ perl 5.6.1



Read queries work fine, but insert, update or delete all return the
following error message.



DBD::Oracle::st fetchrow_array failed: ERROR no statement executing
(perhaps you need to call execute first)



The commands actually work but the Error String is returned.



Any ideas on how to resolve this error?
