Enterprise Manager Login help

I installed a typical instalation of Oracle 8i on my Windows NT machine and cannot login to the Enterprise Manager. Some info of my configuration is:
*for my database name (During creation) was PASCAL.OUR_NETWORK (Our network
being the domain name for our very small office network)

*My computer name on our network: well, lets just say it's "JOHNDOE"

*I log into "JOHNDOE" with my network "USERNAME" and "PASSWORD"

*In Oracle Administration Assistant for Windows NT, for the computer
JOHNDOE , the OS Database Administrators-Computer = OUR_NETWORK\USERNAME.

*When trying to start the Oracle Management Server in the Services, I get an
error that it could not start the management server on my computer.

*I did not use ant parameters to start the service.
