You need to decide what kind of backup you wish to
use. HOT, COLD or export.
Refer to the utilities manual for export. Refer to the Backup, Recovery guide for the rest.
The general syntax for export is
exp id/password file=c:\backupfile.dmp
exp help=y will give you very limited help.
