Fast Track Oracle 9i ODP DBA Course any good?

I have used Oracle for a few years as a developer. Not to bad at the basics. I need to get more knowledge so that I can propelry support our software. Reckon that a formal training course leading to qualification is a sensible route. The funds are available but what's the best option?

The UK Oracle website offers a fast track course for aournd £5000 which inclues a couple of week tutor lead training in London. It looks as if everything goes will I could be an OCP in around 14 weeks.

Does anyone have any experience of the fast track or alternative strategies such as self study or on line training?
