It tends to be related to the load on Oracle's server..The downloads are not corrupted, they are incomplete - Oracle's server 'times out' and stops transferring data so many ftp programs assume that the D/L is done, so report no error, but, if you compare file sizes, you will see the problem..  I have used an ftp program that automatically re-connects and continues interrupted D/Ls if the original file size is not transferred but I forget which one it was .
