How to find who locks my table?

Hi,



I am using Oracle 8.


Is there anyway to find out who locks my table.



I tried using DBA_DML_LOCKS but I got the following 
message.



ERROR at line 1:


ORA-00942: table or view does not exist



Is there any better way to do so?
