You don't seem to have a tnsnames.ora, or your ORACLE_SID environment variable is not set anymore.

tnsnames.ora normally is in $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin. If there is a tnsnames.ora you didn't configure it properly.

Your error has NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to do with session
privileges.
