You could certainly kill the session by any one of a number of means depending on your operating system which you don't mention.

But the best course of action would be to recognize that your middleware is the wrong product and likely has lots of other problems that will waste your time for years to come. Dump it and get something that works. Keeping bad software is just throwing good money after bad.
