I'm a happy camper, running 9i on Linux Red Hat. Haven't had any trouble (besides the installation part), 'till now. It's been running for almost a month, without a reboot. YEAH! I support a Development environment on both Linux and W2K. In my opinion, Linux seems to handle the load/transactions much better then Microsoft's OS.

As far as comparing it to Sun Blade.... really can't answer that. I can only tell you that my experience with 9i on Linux, has been a good one.
