Tom -

Thanks for your assistance. A fellow from Orlando called this morning to help me with my specific problem. I am new to my group, and the CSI situation is a bit confused. It turns out that every CSI that I was trying expired last fall before I came on board here.

My bigger concern was the apparent lack of attention to this email account. The fellow maintains that the email "slipped through the cracks" after checking his queue for the specific day that I sent it. Okay. I'll buy that once. But I hope that it doesn't happen again. My experience in the Oracle Support Services organization tells me that stuff like this is just a bit too common, unfortunately.

Anyhoo, we'll press on and get our CSI situation resolved. General advice to all: If you're having difficulty with your Metalink registration, make a fuss with the people at mlsrv_us_at_oracle.com and/or essrv_us_at_oracle.com. Oracle is largely a service company, and in spite of its imperfections, the good people there want to do their very best for their valued customers. Trust me - they want to know where they've made mistakes and how best to correct them. I've been there.

End of sermon.

Thanks,
TG
