Hi!
I`m new in this ng and I hope, that anyone can help me with my problems concerning an oracle 7 server. In my new departement is an oracle 7 server running on a novell netware 3.12 server an different dos-based sql*forms clients. For another application I need to use some data from the oracle server and need to get access to the database. The new system is working on a linux server (SuSE 7.3) with a mySQL database system. Everything I need is an access workaround from the linux system to the oracle databasesystem. I installed TCP/IP on the novell server and want to get access over TCP/IP to the oracle server.
What kind of interface should I use?
Perl? Java? ...?
I installed the oracle 9i client libraries on the linux system, but I don`t knwo how to manage a connection over TCP/IP.
Can anyone help me?
