Seeking opinions on firewalls

Can anybody recommend a firewall that can be used with an Oracle database?
I understand that because of the way Oracle uses port redirection, it is
necessary for vendors to build Oracle supplied application proxy code into
their products.  The alternative seems to be to open a large number of ports
for any clients that will need to use SQL*Net via the firewall.



Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
