Hi,

at work I use a Win2k wokstation with 8.1.7 client tools. For ad hoc queries I use "sqlplus" (the console tool not the windows "sqlplusw") because it has the abilyty to be controlled by cursor arrows. I can call a command history with up and down or edit typos with the right and left arrows. At home I use Linux and Oracle 9i. If I call sqlplus, I can`t use arrows, they are not mapped, although they work within the shell. How can I "teach" my sqlplus to be controlled by cursor arrows?

thanks
