Hi,

I would be pleased, if you could help me solving my prob.

I'd like to install 8.1.7-client (programmer) onto an unix-server, but installation stops at 92% when 'Protocol Support' should be installed. So I decided to install portions separatly by installing custom-client without installing 'Protocol Support'. Everthing works fine. Then I'd like to finish installation by installing the missing packet, but that dammed thread never came back:

/tmp/OraInstall/jre/bin/../bin/PA_RISC/native_threads/jre -n

----the logging of installation-process ended with:-----------------
...
