hi all

i've got a copy of oracle 8 enterprise, downloaded quite some time ago. i tried installing it on my laptop, running W2K Prof but get the following error during the install:

Error Msg:
The instruction at "0x780126a1" referenced memory at "0x00000010".The memnory could not be "read".

Program:
ORAINST.SLN Program Linee:
780126A1 mov eax,dword ptr [eax+10h]

can anyone advise what may be causing this problem

cheers
