SMON trace errors

Hello,

There were a number of error message blocks written to the SMON trace file. They were repeated in the log all stating that they were trapped and ignored.
An example of the listing follows:

SMON: following errors trapped and ignored:

ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-01115: IO error reading block from file 1 (block # 51)
ORA-01110: data file 1: 'F:\ORANT\DATABASE\SYS1ORCL.ORA'
ORA-27070: skgfdisp: async read/write failed
OSD-04006: ReadFile() failure, unable to read from file
O/S-Error: (OS 33) The process cannot access the file because

another process has locked a portion of the file.

This is the first time we have run into this type of error. Any advice on what would have caused these or where we can look to resolve them?
