Hi Gurus,

I'm applying AP.F patchset to an 11.5.2 install on Solaris 8.

During application of c1815650.drv I am getting an error during relinking of flint60. The basic error message is:

Relink of module "flint60" failed.
See error messages above (also recorded in log file) for possible reasons for the failure. Also, please check that the Unix userid running adrelink has read, write, and execute permissions on the directory /u05/app/appltst/fnd/11.5.0/bin, and that there is sufficient space remaining on the disk partition containing your Oracle Applications installation.

Obviously I have checked that my user appltst owns $FND_TOP/bin and has the required permissions....I also have plenty of disk space on that partition.

Oracles' tentative suggestion is to apply patch 1713381 - however very clearly in the readme it states "This patch is only required on Windows NT platforms", although Metalink does have various platform specific versions of this patch.

Anyway - I'm restoring my db and files to pre-error state to apply this patch, but was wondering if anyone out there has seen this error before, and/or knows anything relevant to fixing it?

Also - any idea why there are multiple platform specific versions of a patch when the readme states it is only for Windows NT?

Cheers,
