I have a system.dmp.Z from Oracle 7.3.4 that is 1.3 GB compressed, Ive tried to uncompress and it core dumps after about 2 GB . I was successful using imp on a smaller .dmp of only one users tables but after the imp what next ?

I am trying to migrate the entire 7.3.4 system to at least 8.1.7 on linux RH6.2

thanks for any advice.
