Error in Background Process

Hi,



Our database shut down early this morning with the following errors:
ORA-00447: fatal error in background process.
ORA-00470: LGWR proess terminated with error.



I have looked up both error messages for explanation but I cannot find the
specifics (or other messages in our Trace files) that denote why this
happened.



Is there somewhere specific I can look for what caused this problem?
