Oracle DBA Opportunity - Fortune 500 Company!

We have an immediate need for an ORACLE DBA. Great opportunity with Fortune 500 company located in El Segundo. This permanent position will offer between 85k - 95k salary + excellent benefit package. *Must be a US CITIZEN and MUST have held SECURITY CLEARANCE with
background investigation (SSBI or EBI).

*Must have 5+ years experience working as an Oracle DBA. Any Sybase
experience is a plus.

*Experience with Oracle 7 and Oracle 8i database systems in a Unix
based production environment.

*Experience supporting enterprise applications.

*Working knowledge of Sun Solaris, web servers, and data warehousing.

*BS or MS degree in MIS or Computer Science is desired.

DUTIES:
Database Administrator for enterprise applications. Maintain operations for production enterprise applications. Tasks include installing and upgrading Oracle servers, allocating system storage, monitoring and tuning database performance, backup/recovery of the database, application tuning and troubleshooting.
