External Procedures in Win98?

Is it possible to use external procedures in win98? I have been trying unsuccessfully. In the Oracle on-line documentation it says:

The EXTPROC process spawned by the listener inherits the operating system privileges of the listener...

Does the word "process" suggests that WinNT is required for Microsoft systems? Received on Tue Oct 16 2001 - 01:06:06 CDT
