CAN'T INSTALL 8.17 on win 2k

hi, can any one of you help me what is wrong with my ORACLE?  When I click
on "install/deinstall" button cd drive seems to be spinning for a min then
it just stops and doesn't install on to my win 2k pro box.  has any of you
experienced the same?
