R: dual instance of database

Sorry, thank you for your answer but I meant that the second instance is relative to a different database.
I've a db for development and a db for testing and each of them have an instance and a listener.
The error occours when I try to start a database when the other one is already started.
The error message appears even if I start the second instance with NOMOUNT option.
