8.0.4 has been desupped a long time ago. In fact 8.0 will go end-of-life end of this month. Also: there isn't any version of 8.0 which has ever been certified by Oracle against win2k. Win2k came out about at the same time as 8.1.6 and 8.1.6 has been certified
(and will be desupped at the end of next month) You have no other choice than
a) to check the Metalink site for desupport notices frequently b) to upgrade to 8.1.7 right away.
