hi,
I've just upgraded from oracle 8.1.6 to 8.1.7 under Win2k and am now expiriencing some troubles with calls to utl_file. I already made sure, I've got access to the specified directory by setting utl_file_dir=("*") in in the ini-file the database uses (initvpab1.ora). Still I get errors like this:
ERROR at line 1:

ORA-06510: PL/SQL: unhandled user-defined exception
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_FILE", line 101
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_FILE", line 157
ORA-06512: at "VPAB.PKG_VPKONTO_VW", line 243
ORA-06512: at "VPAB.VPKONTO_ACC", line 4
ORA-06512: at line 1

Where did I miss to change a parameter to give access to a desired directory?

Any answer is welcome
