oracle80.exe high processor utilization

Hello all,

We are having a major problem with oracle being very slow. We are running Oracle Financials v11 with oracle database 8. All of this is running on NT 4.0. On occasion, oracle80.exe will be using from 50-75 % of the processors when no one is doing anything. When people try do something, this slows them down alot. Is this a known issue? Has anyone seen this before?
