Hello,

I have the same install problem. In my case I am trying to install Oracle 8i Personal edition. I get the hour glass for 1-2 seconds and then nothing happens.
Windows 2000 Pro, service pack 2.

Please let me know if the JDK fixed the problem. Thank you.
