Btw:
is there any reason why Oracle does not support booleans? That looks quite stupid to me.
Especially if they provide functions (such as in Spatial) which return a boolean.
Great Oracle technology is to pass back a string, which is either 'TRUE' or 'FALSE'.

Just hope you get the spelling right when processing the result...
