Oracle 8i v.s. Oracle Internet

I'm about to enroll and attend one of the above courses. They both cost the same, and involve equal amount of time.

My questions are:

which course should I take?
What is the job market and demand for each one in Southern California? What type of income am I looking at?
What's a fair price for the course? ($4,200 @ 177 hours - my contract price +exam fees)
Are there isp's with reasonable web hosting prices, for oracle enabled sites for home practice?
If MySQL is free, would there be a need for Oracle enabled databases? If the above is true, database or financial, which one better?

Any tips or tricks?
