Hi all,
i'm very new into Oracle 8i and i need to replace a string for a specific table - the problem is the utilization of wild cards within this function:
i'm trying to replace something like : select replace('http://1%', 'http://1%', 'http://a1168') "url" from sites from my 'old' sql-knowledge i would use the substr-function but i need some explanation on it ...

thanks a lot
