Check under in the NT services to see if the service with this name as you wish to use still exists. It'll be called something like "oralceDBNAME service".
If it does, then use the "oradim" program to remove it. I don't know the synatx off the top of my head, but it'll be something like "oradim -DELETE -SID DBNAME"
You can run "oradim -?" or something of that nature to get the exact syntax.
