You need glibs 2.0 (Red Hat 7.1 has 2.2). I don't know if anybody came out with solution for this problem. For 6.2, there is compatibility patch, which rewrites makefiles to use 2.0 compatibility libs instead of glibs. You can install 8.1.7 with some tweaking, it uses glibs 2.1 and there are compatibility libraries for this situation. Received on Tue Jun 26 2001 - 21:44:45 CDT
