i have an e-community created in PL/SQL backed by Oracle 8i AS. I would like to add file transfer capabillity to my users and do not want to use CGI or JAVA for file transfer. Is there some way that i can transfer files using PL/SQL stored procedures? i also need to verify the file size before upload to ensure that no-one can upload an infinite amount of data and crash the system. This ecommunity is being used in a college. Any assistance will be acknowledged and appreciated.
