Oracle does not have, as a native format, a .sql file. Any file with the .sql extension has it as a matter of convention and that usage is completely arbitrary. It could just as easily be .txt, .asc, or .xyz.

If you have questions about Access you might wish to direct them to a more appropriate forum. I presume the product reads ASCII files.
