I need to retrieve certain transactions from GL, AP, AR modules into Excel. I see that the tables are many. How can I find the quickest route to which tables are relevant to my needs?

Which part of which manual? Any good books?

The transactions I need are Receipts and Payments in the Bank Account in a given month. Basic fields: accounting period, date, reference(s), amount, dr or cr, description, transaction type.
