Many thanks for your advice, this is the kind of advice I like, not some idiot trying to tell me that I'll create a disaster without knowing anything about my other skills and what the main part of my job entails (NT/Unix/Exchange). It was made clear at interview that this was a training requirement of mine and also the salary also reflects my current knowledge and not that of a fully qualified, experienced Oracle DBA.
