About 3 weeks ago I posted a note volunteering to host a 'co-operative' FAQ, and asked for responses from the group, either to the newsgroup, or by direct email with the subject FAQ
Since then I have received messages from six volunteers prepared to write answers to questions (thank you for volunteering), but only one potential reader.
Does this bear out the suggestion from Sybrand (I think) that people who ask the FAQs are exactly the people who wouldn't bother to read the FAQ, or is there really no need for the effort.
At the current response rate, I am not going to bother. If you think it would be worthwhile, and useful, please let me know within the next two weeks.
