Hi,

Have you already installed the Java SDK before running the RunInstaller? Oracle 8i release 3 requires JDK 1.1.8 to be installed. Oracle looks for the JDK at /usr/local/java.

If you haven't done it, go to http://www.blackdown.org to download the JDK jdk118_v3-glibc-2.1.3.tar.bz2
